Father Norm's Retirement Sunday at St. Alban's

The Rev. Norman Y. Ishizaki retired after 35 years of ordained ministry and 30 years as St. Alban's third rector. On Sunday, September 29, 2002, we celebrated Father Norm's retirement at the 10:00 a.m. Eucharist with special music followed by a festive brunch on the patio. The Vestry named Father Norm "Rector Emeritus". Read his retirement sermon.

The procession enters the church to the sounds of organ and trumpet.

Fr. Norm's family joins the overflow congregation in singing the opening hymn.

The Rev. Winnie Varghese reads the Gospel lesson.
